When to Contact Doctor – Major Risk

Ask for medical assistance immediately:

Call your Doctor if you are currently pregnant or have recently delivered a baby and think you may have all signs of cardiomyopathy. Get medical help right away if you develop chest pain, palpitations, faintness, or other new or unexplained symptoms

Note –  For pre-eclampsia and HELLP, while the symptoms and outcome sound very severe and frightening. The best approach to tackle them is to detect and act early. Watch out for overt symptoms like sudden weight gain, excessive swelling in feet and hands, abnormal blood pressure. Have your blood pressure checked regularly, exercise mildly, regulate your diet restricting salt intake, and check for family history. ACT EARLY!
